SHARON OSBOURNE Confirms BLACK SABBATH’s Final Show Will Also Be OZZY’s Final Show

“This is his full stop.”

Ozzy Osbourne 2024

Black Sabbath‘s original lineup – Ozzy OsbourneTony IommiGeezer Butler and Bill Ward – has announced one final show this July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England. Black Sabbath‘s set will be preceded by a solo Osbourne set, which seemed to be his last considering the announcement stated: “The all-star event will celebrate the true creators of heavy metal and will see Ozzy Osbourne play his own short set before joining with Black Sabbath for his final bow.”

Now in two separate interviews, Sharon Osbourne has confirmed the show will be Ozzy‘s last. In an interview with BBCSharon said “Ozzy didn’t have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there’s no been no full stop. This is his full stop.” In another interview with ReutersSharon echoed that same sentiment saying “For Ozzy right now, it’s definitely: ‘I love you and good night.'”

The show is especially bittersweet considering Osbourne has largely been sidelined from all live appearances due to ongoing medical issues. Osbourne played his last proper show in 2018, and made two appearances in 2022 at the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony and the NFL Kickoff.
