Jennifer Lopez is ready to “close the door” on her marriage to Ben Affleck as the finish line on their divorce approaches.
“The fairy tale she was promised turned out to be a nightmare in the end,” a source told People on Tuesday.
Although Lopez is currently in a “really good place,” she “just wants to close the door on this crazy chapter,” the insider added.
Despite Lopez being pH๏τographed at her soon-to-be ex-husband’s home on Sunday, a separate source told the publication that they are “not getting back together.”

Lopez is reportedly in a “really good place,” however, she “just wants to close the door on this crazy chapter.”After Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, an insider told Page Six that she believed she was “finally getting her chance at the fairy tale.”
“She just really didn’t stop to consider who the actual man was [in] the fairy tale,” the source told us, adding that the “big love Jennifer believes in” is “not in [Ben’s] DNA.”
They continued, “Ben has a darkness to him that no other person can fix. [His ex-wife] Jen Garner couldn’t fix it, all the success in the world couldn’t fix it.”
Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, officially settled their divorce on Monday, however, it will not be finalized until Feb. 20.

Affleck co-founded the company with Damon — his longtime friend — four months after he and J.Lo tied the knot.
The $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, which the former couple previously shared, remains for sale. It has not been revealed how they agreed to divvy up the property.
Lopez will be able to keep the $5 million engagement ring that Affleck proposed with in April 2022, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

In her divorce filing, Lopez listed their date of separation as April 26, 2024.
The duo — who ended their first engagement in 2004 — did not welcome any children together, however, they had a blended family of five kids.
Affleck shares his three kids, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner. Meanwhile, Lopez shares her twins, Max and Emme, 16, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
