Michael Chandler displayed superhuman strength in the final round of his lightweight bout against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 – and fans can’t get enough of the incredible moment in New York City.

Oliveira came out on top via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-45) as every judge scored it four rounds to one but the final round was Chandler’s – and it might go down as one of the greatest in UFC history.

For much of the fight, Oliveira was in control but in the final stages, Chandler landed a ton of hammer fists. In fact, at one stage, it looked like the 38-year-old could steal a comeback after such a one-sided affair.

Oliviera, however, would recover and once more, the Brazilian would apply a rear naked choke with a minute to go.

But then, in a remarkable show of strength, Chandler managed to get to his feet, carrying Oliveira on his back, before slamming him to the mat with a WWE-style move. “F**k it!” he screamed.

And moments later, Chandler got up and pulled off another back slam. Just check it out below.

Here’s how fans on social media reacted to the insane moment.

One said: “One of the greatest rounds I have ever witnessed,” while another wrote: “Glad I tuned in… one of the best UFC matches in a while.”

A third commented: “This moment itself was way better than that boxing s*** yesterday.”

A fourth said: “Michael Chandler might lose every single big fight he’s in but he might legitimately be the most entertaining fighter on the roster.”

In his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, an exhausted Chandler called out Max Holloway for the BMF Belt. He also expressed his interest in fighting Conor McGregor.

“Conor McGregor, if you can ever get your house back in order, while us real professionals have been keeping the octagon warm,” Chandler said. “We’ve been wondering where you have been, Conor. Come back and beat me, if you can!”
