Lil Wayne continues to upgrade his fortune when he just bought a $15.4M Hidden Hills mansion

Lil Wayne seems to have decided to put down some real estate roots in Los Angeles, showing a particular affinity for the Hidden Hills community in the San Fernando Valley.

After spending a significant part of the previous year in a rented mansion in Hollywood Hills with his now-ex Denise Bidot, the 38-year-old rapper made a substantial investment, purchasing a lavish estate for $15.4 million.

Hidden Hills, a guard-gated community known for its celebrity residents, including Drake, Lori Loughlin, Dwyane Wade, Jessica Simpson, Jeffree Star, John Stamos, and various Kardashian family members, has become Lil Wayne’s new home.

His property is located practically across the street from The Weeknd’s residence and just around the corner from Kylie Jenner’s primary home.

The hilltop estate, constructed in 2019 by a local developer, boasts a main residence exceeding 10,000 square feet and a separate guesthouse on a lower pad.

The expansive property, spanning more than three acres, features meticulously landscaped grounds with olive trees, rolling lawns, white picket fences, and horse pathways, reflecting Hidden Hills’ equestrian history.

The main residence, designed in a modern farmhouse style, offers spacious public areas, including a sizable living room adjacent to the two-story entryway.

Oak wood floors extend into the designer kitchen, equipped with two massive islands, marble countertops, and high-end stainless appliances.

Large windows flood nearly every space with natural light, offering views of the wraparound patio, outdoor dining areas, and recreational amenities like a sports court, pool, and integrated spa.

The house features a gym, a movie theater with a starry galaxy ceiling, and a blacked-out wet bar with a flatscreen TV. Upstairs, five bedrooms each have attached bathrooms, with the master bedroom showcasing a muted color scheme, a fireplace with a marble surround, and a master bathroom with luxurious features.

The property also includes a guesthouse with its own driveway, small kitchen, and welcoming sitting space. Lil Wayne’s decision to invest in Hidden Hills adds to his real estate portfolio, which includes a posh Miami villa purchased in late 2018 for $16.8 million, serving as his primary residence when not in Hidden Hills.

Despite Lil Wayne’s greatest career successes occurring in the late 2000s and early 2010s, he remains a prominent figure in hip-hop, with five Grammys and an impressive 170 songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100. This move into Hidden Hills reflects his desire for privacy amid a successful and storied career.
