Some users have recently noticed that the Disney+ app has disappeared from the Tesla Theater entertainment system in Tesla vehicles. This comes amid tensions between Elon Musk and Disney CEO Bob Iger.

Previously, Musk shared anti-Semitic content on social network X, leading to a strong wave of protests from the community and many major partners, including Disney. Disney then decided to temporarily suspend advertising activities on X. Although Elon Musk later apologized, the relationship with Disney was still affected.

In a recent interview, Elon Musk publicly criticized Disney, accusing the company of being affected by a “woke mind virus” and even directed vulgar remarks at Iger.

Most recently, according to Electrek, a Tesla announced the removal of the Disney+ entertainment app from the Tesla Theater but did not specify the specific reason.

Initially, it was reported that the app would be removed completely from all Tesla vehicles.

However, Tesla later adjusted the policy and only removed Disney+ from vehicles that had never used the app before. Now, some Tesla owners say they no longer see the Disney+ app in their system, while others, who may have used the app, still see Disney+ available.

The removal of Disney+ could be a symbolic move by Musk in response to Disney, but it’s also possible that Tesla is rethinking its strategy for partnering with streaming entertainment services and will make an official announcement in the near future.
