Mike Tyson and Jake Paul collided at a packed AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The boxing icon made a shock return to professional boxing for the first time since 2005 when he suffered defeat to Kevin McBride.

He did return to the ring 4 years ago against Roy Jones Jr. but the fight was purely an exhibition bout between two legends of the sport.

In taking on an opponent in Paul that is 31 years younger was controversial to say the least with many believing the fight should not have been sanctioned.

How the fight unfolded:

Tyson came out of the blocks fast putting pressure on Paul landing a solid jab.

Paul responded with a crunching right hand of his own.

In the second round not much happened although ‘Iron Mike’ appeared to have an issue with his gumshield which he kept adjusting.

Roy Jones Jr. on commentary voiced his concern over Tyson’s legs.

In the third round Tyson looked every bit of his age and was rocked by a left hook from Paul. Worryingly he was having to hold his mouthpiece in.

In the fourth round Tyson has completely stopped throwing anything now, Paul landed a nice right hand to the body.

Round 5: Paul outworked Tyson once again but the icon did land one punch.

He did eat a big overhand right, though.

The sixth round was another easy round for Paul, as he dominated from the outside.

The crowd are not enjoying the action and started booing.

The penultimate round, Paul landed a few crunching shots, there is very little coming from Tyson at all.

We reached the final round (thankfully) and both embrace in the ring.

Many thought the fight might be fixed and yesterday a script was leaked on social media. Thankfully it turned out to be a hoax.
