Usyk INSISTS THAT HE WILL NOT BE LATE TO Tyson Fury like he did to Anthony Joshua “I WILL WIN AGAIN”
Oleksandr Usyk has doubled down on his confidence ahead of his highly anticipated showdown with Tyson Fury, stating that this time, he will not repeat past mistakes. Reflecting on his earlier bout preparation with Anthony Joshua, Usyk emphasized that lessons have been learned and he is entering this fight with unwavering determination to claim victory once again.
“I understand what is at stake,” Usyk said in a recent interview. “Tyson Fury is a great fighter, but I have prepared myself mentally and physically in ways I didn’t for my fight against Joshua. I will not be late, not in my approach, not in my execution. This time, everything will be perfect.”
Usyk’s reference to being “late” stems from criticism over his slower-than-expected performance during his first encounter with Anthony Joshua. Though he ultimately secured a convincing victory, Usyk admitted that his pacing and strategy could have been sharper.
Fans and pundits alike are now watching closely as the Ukrainian champion prepares to face Tyson Fury, a fighter renowned for his size, skill, and showmanship. The fight, which is being hailed as one of the biggest in boxing history, has generated significant buzz, with both fighters exchanging bold claims in the lead-up.
“I will win again,” Usyk declared confidently. “My focus is sharper than ever. Fury is a challenge, but I thrive on challenges. The world will see the best version of me in that ring.”
The clash between Usyk, the unified heavyweight champion, and Fury, the WBC heavyweight titleholder, is expected to determine the undisputed king of the heavyweight division. While Fury has dismissed Usyk’s chances, the Ukrainian’s track record of beating bigger opponents cannot be overlooked.
With the date of the fight drawing near, the boxing world waits with bated breath to see if Usyk’s promise to not “be late” will translate into another historic victory. Will his refined preparation and relentless spirit be enough to dethrone the towering Fury? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: Usyk is not backing down from the challenge.
